Permanent Marker

This is our stab at making a DIY stick and poke tattoo kit. It took us a ridiculous amount of time to build these.

The process actually started with designing a custom Sharpie, then waiting weeks for production to come in. Once we received the REBEL8 Sharpies, we took the caps off and let them dry out for three days. From there, we took the felt tips off and once again waited three days for the rest of the ink to dry. We then drilled out the back and dismantled the Sharpie. We cut aluminum tube that had almost the exact diameter as the Sharpie opening and glued it in place. After extensive cleaning of the Sharpies, we then packed them in a ziplock bag with a 3 round liner tattoo needle, two stickers and a tattoo flash sheet.
